Jennifer Garner on Husband Ben Affleck’s ‘Gone Girl’ Nude Scene: ‘You’re Welcome’ (Video)

“Men, Women & Children” star says during “Ellen” appearance, “You give me so much, I wanted to give something back to all of you”

Jennifer Garner drops by “Ellen” on Wednesday to talk about her upcoming film projects, but they had to take a moment to talk about the number one movie in the country, “Gone Girl,” starring her husband, Ben Affleck.

In particular, DeGeneres teased saying, ” Maybe the reason it’s number one is he’s showing, um…”

But while DeGeneres paused, Garner jumped right in to finish the thought. “His penis,” she said. “I think you’re probably onto something.” Affleck’s first full-frontal nude scene takes place in a fleeting shower scene in the film.

“What I have to say is, you’re welcome,” Garner said to the audience. “I try to consider myself a charitable person, and I wanted to give back. You give me so much, I wanted to give something back to all of you.”

Garner said that she and Affleck did talk about the scene, albeit after the fact. According to the “Men, Women & Children” star, Affleck told her, “Hey, you know, at work today, [director David] Fincher talked me into coming out of the shower.”

Her response was certainly complimentary to the future Batman. “Oh cool. Well, I hope he had on a wide lens,” she laughed.

Garner’s latest film, “Men, Women & Children,” is open now in limited release, before expanding into a wide release on Oct. 17. She tells Affleck and “Gone Girl,” they’d better watch out.

“Poor ‘Gone Girl,’ it’s gonna be gone,” she said.

It co-stars Adam Sandler, Dean Norris, Rosemarie DeWitt, Judy Greer, Ansel Elgort, Kaitlyn Dever, Dennis Haysbert, J.K. Simmons and Emma Thompson. Paramount Pictures will release the film wide to theaters on Friday, Oct. 17
