Jennifer Lawrence came very close to asking out Seth Meyers. Let that sink in for a moment.
Ready? OK. During an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Tuesday, the “Joy” star admitted that she had a crush on the late-night host years ago. During a hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live” when Meyers was still a cast member, she was determined to win his affection.
Lawrence said she was hoping Meyers would ask her out, but then decided she was going to ask him out. Unfortunately for her, a woman in the costume department informed Lawrence that Meyers was engaged at the time.
Lawrence also admitted to another celebrity crush while on the show. Turns out, Larry David of “Seinfeld” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” fame is Lawrence’s type as well. She admitted that she texted her good friend Amy Schumer recently to admit to having some very inappropriate thoughts about the comedian.
