Jeremy Renner would be open to doing a Hawkeye series on Netflix, the actor said Saturday.

Speaking onstage at the Silicon Valley Comic Con, the “Avengers” actor said he would be open to the idea of joining the likes of “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones,” “Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist.”

“I think that’s actually a really great model, if there’s ever a way to explore the character, maybe it’s in that world,” he said, according to ComicBook.com. “These are things that are really not in my control, but I’d be open to it. I’ve really enjoyed getting to explore the character more recently. The Netflix model is where all the character drama goes to now, you’re doing a superhero movie or a Netflix or HBO kind of model. So I’d be open to it.”

Renner has played Hawkeye in “Thor,” “The Avengers” and “The Avengers 2,” where his family life outside of the team was explored. He will next reprise the role in “Captain America: Civil War.”

The Netflix Marvel series are all set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there have thus far been no real crossovers between the movies and the TV shows. Actors from the films, including Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders have appeared on ABC’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

Netflix just released Season 2 of “Daredevil,” with “Luke Cage” set to premiere in September 30.
