Jerry Seinfeld Says ‘Seinfeld’ Reunion Arriving ‘Very, Very Soon’

The comedian told a New York radio show that he and his “Seinfeld” co-stars recently worked on a secret project

What’s the deal with Jerry Seinfeld‘s secret project? Early in January, as part of a Reddit AMA, Seinfeld eluded to a secret project that he was working on with “Seinfeld” creator Larry David.

A photo taken of Seinfeld and his “Seinfeld” co-star Jason Alexander walking to Tom’s Restaurant, the dinner that served as the face of the coffee shop that was so crucial in the series 9-year run, added to the speculation.

Talking with the “Boomer & Carton” radio show on WFAN in New York Thursday morning, Seinfeld pieced together more of the puzzle. Carefully avoiding giving away too much, Seinfeld confirmed that Alexander was reprising his “Seinfeld” character George in the photo, and that other members of “Seinfeld’s” cast were involved in the project as well.

Seinfeld described it as a “short-ish” form project, but it is not related to his hit web-series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” He also said it wasn’t a Superbowl ad, but qualified with “it’s not not those things.”

Whatever the comedian has in store for his fans, the wait will be short – Seinfeld said that the project will be available “very, very soon.”
