Jesse Eisenberg Bolts ICM for CAA

“The Social Network” star Jesse Eisenberg went from an indie movie actor to an Oscar nominee at the agency

Jesse Eisenberg is leaving ICM for CAA, an individual with knowledge of the departure told TheWrap.

With the help of ICM agent Joanne Wiles, Eisenberg went from a promising independent film actor in movies like 2005's "The Squid and the Whale" to an Oscar-nominee for his performance as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in David Fincher's 2010 "The Social Network."

Eisenberg also scored hits with his comic turn in "Zombieland" (2009) and for his voice work in animated film "Rio" (2010), although his starring role in last summer's "30 Seconds or Less" fizzled at the box office.

Upcoming projects include Woody Allen's "To Rome With Love" in which he returns to his patented lovelorn nebbishness, and a starring role as a piano prodigy in the indie film "Predisposed."

Deadline first reported Eisenberg's departure from ICM.
