After raking in huge ratings for the History Channel earlier this year, Jesus will be taking his miracles to the big screen in “Son of God,” which is basically a condensed version of the 10-hour miniseries “The Bible,” with a few extra scenes not included in the telecast.
The first trailer for the film shows Jesus of Nazareth (Diogo Morgado) performing a variety of miracles, including his biggest hits like healing the sick and walking on water, as well as helping his disciple Peter catch a whole bunch of fish. Then he gets sold out by Judas, and the rest is history.
