Jim Rome Returning to Showtime Next Month

Season 3 episodes debut Jan. 15

“Jim Rome on Showtime” will return for its third season on Wednesday, Jan. 15, the network announced.

Beginning in February, the show will continue to share the Wednesday original sports programming slot with “60 Minutes Sports.” “60 Minutes” will air the first Wednesday of the month, while Rome will air on the second Wednesday, throughout 2014.

Rome’s guests have included Snoop Dogg, Kobe Bryant, Adrian Peterson, David Ortiz, Russell Wilson, Danica Patrick, Mark Cuban and Charles Barkley.

Last year, Rome debuted on CBS Sports Radio. In addition to his daily radio program, he has signed a multi-year deal with CBS to contribute across CBS Corporation platforms. He previously hosted “Jim Rome is Burning” on ESPN.

He began his radio career at KTMS in Santa Barbara as the “$5 dollar-an-hour” traffic reporter and covered UC Santa Barbara’s sports. “Jim Rose on Showtime” is produced by Generate Entertainment, Inc.
