Jimmy Kimmel’s studio sits on Hollywood Boulevard, which means that he sees a lot of tourists pass by on a daily basis — especially during the summer.

While it’s not a particularly relevant or important question, late night TV has a lot of time to fill, so Kimmel used a solid seven minutes of his ABC show on Tuesday night to assess the look of volunteer tourists and guess whether they were American or from some foreign country.
He was actually pretty good at the exercise — his staff chose Europeans galore — and all in all, it was an excellent example of what makes the United States great.
