Joan Rivers is striking back at Jennifer Lawrence for comments she made about E!’s “Fashion Police.”
While promoting “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” via a Yahoo chat, Lawrence said shows like Rivers’ red carpet style series are teaching viewers to be judge others on a shallow level.
“There’s shows like the ‘Fashion Police’ and things like that are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on things,” the 23-year-old actress said, “that they put values in all the things that are wrong and that it’s OK to point at people and call them ‘ugly’ and call them ‘fat’ and they call it ‘fun’ and ‘welcome to the real world.’”

In response, Rivers pointed out on Twitter that Lawrence enjoyed the coverage “Fashion Police” had previously given her and called her arrogant:
It’s funny how Jennifer Lawrence loved @E_FashionPolice during Awards Season when we were complimenting her every single week…

But now that she has a movie to promote, suddenly we’re picking on all those poor, helpless actors.

WAIT! It just dawned on me why Jennifer Lawrence fell on her way up to the stage to get her Oscar. She tripped over her own arrogance.

This is just the latest example of Lawrence getting into trouble over things she has said while promoting the new film. On Tuesday, several sites tried to create a feud between her and Miley Cyrus — even though she never really said anything about the twerk-obsessed singer.
