‘N Sync alum will help children and their parents better grasp each other's situations
Joey Fatone is continuing along his inevitable path to world domination, signing on to host the Hub Network's upcoming reality show “Parents Just Don't Understand.”
The series, which has received a 22-episode order, will offer children and their parents an opportunity to find out what it's like to be in the other person's shoes.
‘N Sync and “Dancing With the Stars” alum Fatone will also executive produce the series, along with Christian Sarabia (“For the Love of Ray J”) and Rabih Gholam (“Redneck Island”).
“Parents Just Don't Understand,” produced by Endemol's 51 Minds Entertainment, is the first in a slate of new series reflecting Hub's expansion into programming for kids and their families to watch together.
“‘Parents Just Don't Understand’ is a unique, exciting and fun concept that speaks to a real issue that families deal with today, which is how to foster mutual respect and understanding when dealing with their over-scheduled lives,” Hub's senior vice president, programming and development Nikki Reed said. “The cross-generational aspect of this show also meant that it was important for us to find a host who could speak to the kids, the parents and the grandparents. We believe we found that in Joey Fatone, who is a multi-faceted performer with broad appeal.”
