Taylor Swift may have to take her own advice and “Shake It Off” when it comes to an insult from comedian John Cleese.
The fur started flying between the stars last week on BBC’s “The Graham Norton Show.” As the two were being interviewed, Cleese reacted to a photo of Swift’s Scottish Fold feline, a breed notable for ears that are bent forward and down.
Apparently the unusual cat named Olivia Benson — after the “Law & Order: SVU” character — struck Cleese as more odd than endearing.
“How did it have the accident?” the comedy icon and former Monty Python stalwart asked the songstress when he saw it. “Is that a proper cat? That’s the weirdest cat I’ve ever seen.”
Swift, who’s current single “Shake It Off” is burning up the charts, wasn’t amused. Here’s the video:
