John Cusack Wall Street Pilot, Soapy Drama From David Marshall Grant Ordered by CBS

CBS has orered a drama pilot from John Cusack, as well as a soapy medical pilot from “Brothers & Sisters” and “Smash” producer David Marshall Grant.

The Cusack project, which is currently untitled, is set in the world of Wall Street power and money. Taylor Elmore (“Justified,” “Cold Case”) is writing and executive producing, as is Ben Cavell. Kevin McCabe, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly are executive producing, as is Cusack, who co-wrote the story with Elmore, Cavell and McCabe.

The project comes from CBS Television Studios.

The Grant pilot, also currently untitled, is described as a sudsy doctor show centered around quadruplets — three brothers and a sister — who grew up on a reality show.

Grant is writing and executive producing the CBS Television Studios project. Timberman, Beverly, Arik Kneller, Avi Armoza, Tariq Jalil, David Garrett, Yona Wiesenthal, Eilon Ratzkovsky, Givora Yaholom and Oren Jakobi are also executive producing.
