John Krasinski, Emily Blunt Live in Fear in First Trailer for ‘A Quiet Place’ (Video)

“If they can’t hear you, they can’t hunt you”

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have to live their lives in silence to stay undetected from an unknown thing in the first teaser trailer for “A Quiet Place.”

Paramount Pictures’ film was directed by Krasinski as well, and also stars Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds.

In the trailer, a family lives in a house in the woods, but they must not make a noise, otherwise something — it’s not quite known what — will come for them.

They eat dinner in silence, speak in sign language, play games quietly, and walk only on planks that don’t creak. Everything goes well until one of the kids knocks over a lamp — and it comes for them.

“Listen closely. More carefully. And never make a sound. If they can’t hear you, they can’t hunt you,” it says in the trailer.

Krasinski wrote the screenplay for the film with Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.

“A Quiet Place” will hit theaters on April 6, 2018.
