Johnny Depp Plays Donald Trump in 50-Minute Funny or Die Movie (Video)

“Art of the Deal” 1980s parody also stars Patton Oswalt, Jack McBrayer, Henry Winkler and Stephen Merchant

Seemingly everyone has a Donald Trump impression, and that now includes Johnny Depp.

The actor behind Jack Sparrow stars as the billionaire businessman in a new 50-minute Funny or Die film, “Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal: The Movie,” which surprised the Internet on Wednesday.

The all-star cast also includes Patton Oswalt as Merv Griffin and Jack McBrayer as Trump architect Der Scutt. Henry WinklerJacob TremblayStephen MerchantAlfred Molina, Michaela Watkins, Andy Richter and others are along for some 1980s fun.

The period movie’s original theme song comes courtesy of Kenny Loggins, because, of course it does.

Here’s the premise, in FOD’s own words:
In 1988, Donald Trump wrote, directed, and starred in a made-for-TV movie based on his bestselling book “The Art of the Deal.” BUT the film never aired, because legend has it, when his movie got pre-empted by the “Monday Night Football” game between the Browns and the Colts, Trump was furious, so he pulled the movie.

Now Funny Or Die has unearthed this delightfully dated masterpiece for the world to see.

“The Art of The Deal” can be seen on FunnyOrDie.com, the Funny Or Die app for Apple TV, and the Funny Or Die mobile app for iOS and Android.
