Jon Stewart Blasts Fox News Using Stoner Voice (Video)

“The Daily Show” host reminisces about his “Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace” interview

Jon Stewart ripped into Fox News Channel during his Sunday interview with Chris Wallace. On Monday, "The Daily Show" host continued the assault — only this time using the age-old comic gambit of speaking like a philosophical stoner.

Further hammering on the network's "fair and balanced" slogan, Stewart aired a clip from the interview in which Wallace states that Fox tells "the other side of the story" than the liberal agenda.

"The other side of the story," said Stewart, using normal voice. "We don't tell both sides of the story. We tell one side — the other side."

He then adopted the guise of a conservative pothead. "Fox News isn't fair and balanced," he saidg. "It's balancing the system, man. Don't you get it? The system's unfair and unbalanced. To balance the system, Fox has to be the purest form of right-wing resin because of how heavy left-wing America is."

The comedian later used the word "brosef," knowing that it always kills. Predictably, the audience laughed.
