The senator was caught playing video poker during the Syria hearings
On his second night back in “The Daily Show” seat, Jon Stewart dedicated his lead segment Wednesday to Sen. John McCain, who was caught playing video poker during Senate hearings on the potential attack on Syria.
“There’s a Rascal Scooter and a bucket of quarters with your name on it over at the Golden Nugget,” Stewart told McCain, in a segment titled, “Groundhog Deja Clusterf—.”
“Instead of playing pretend poker in the actual Senate, go to an actual casino and pretend you know what the government should do,” the “Daily Show,” he chided.
For his part, McCain was caught on tape admitting to the distraction, giggly joking that he had thousands of dollars riding on the game.
