Jon Stewart to Jon Huntsman: ‘It’s Time to Put the Confetti in Storage’ (Video)

The "Daily Show" host also marvels at how Mitt Romney won New Hampshire, "While still having no one like him"

Jon Huntsman reacted very enthusiastically to his third-place finish in the New Hampshire primary this week, but Jon Stewart stomped his buzz on Wednesday's "Daily Show."

Post-primary, a celebratory Huntsman — who had skipped Iowa and moved to New Hampshire for a year to focus all his efforts in that state — proclaimed, "We got it done, ladies and gentleman! I say third place is a ticket to ride, ladies and gentleman!"

"A ticket to ride … home … in coach," Stewart said, before cutting away to a clip of Huntsman celebrating as confetti rained down on him.

"There's no confetti for third place!" Stewart continued.

"The only confetti third place should get is, 'I can't believe I moved here for a year and …'" as Stewart angrily tried to hand-shred his paper into confetti.

Check out the "Indecision 2012" clip on the New Hampshire primary results below, in which Stewart also expresses wonder at how Mitt Romney managed to win New Hampshire, even though no one likes him:
