Earlier this week, Jon Stewart really didn't know what to say about the Tucson shootings. "I can give you a compilation of the day's news excesses," Stewart said on "The Daily Show" on Monday, "but it doesn't seem appropriate."
By Thursday, however, it seemed appropriate.
Stewart took issue with Fox News' reaction to the Tucson Memorial — which, as TheWrap pointed out, praised Obama's speech at Wednesday's service.
But Fox's morning show critique of the memorial sent Stewart over the edge: "It's 'mourning' with a 'u'! You're confusing a morning show, which you are on, with a show of mourning which this is."
