Longtime MSNBC exec producer last worked on “Up w/ Chris Hayes
Jonathan Larsen is going to stay up late with Alec Baldwin on Fridays as the new MSNBC show's executive producer.
Larsen has been with MSNBC since 2005 and previously worked as a senior producer on “Countdown” and executive producer of “Up w/ Chris Hayes,” overseeing its transition to “Up w/ Steve Kornacki” in the spring as Hayes moved to his primetime “All In” spot.
The multi-talented Larsen is also the creator and writer of a webcomic called “The Endling.”
“Up Late” premiered on Friday at 10 p.m. The weekly show improved on total audience ratings in the timeslot, but lost viewers in the demo.
