Josh Brolin and Miles Teller are in talks to star in the firefighter action movie “No Exit,” TheWrap has learned.

“No Exit” is the true story of an Arizona firefighting unit called the Granite Mountain Hotshots, which returned just one of its 20 members in 2013’s Yarnell Hill Fire after a shift in wind forced a choice that resulted in the deadliest day for firefighters since 9/11.

Joseph Kosinski (“Tron: Legacy”) has been tapped to direct.

Brolin most recently starred in the Joel and Ethan Cohen comedy “Hail, Caesar!” while Teller is currently shooting the PTSD drama “Thank You for Your Service” alongside Amy Schumer.

Ken Nolan (“Black Hawk Down”) developed the story with the producers, who include Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Erik Howsam, Jeremy Steckler, Dawn Ostroff, Mike Menchel, Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill.

Smith and the Luckinbills’ Black Label Media is financing the film, which has not yet set a timetable for production.

Brolin is represented by CAA and Teller is represented by CAA and Stone, Genow, Smelkinson, Binder & Christopher.
