The actor plays a troubled British gangster in the crime comedy from “The Matador” director Richard Shepard
Jude Law is a very convincing loud-mouthed, violent drunk in the first trailer for “Dom Hemingway.”
The crime comedy from writer and director Richard Shepard follows Law as the titular character — a notorious safe-cracker who is back on the streets of London looking for what he's owed after spending 12 years in prison for keeping his mouth shut.
Emilia Clarke (“Game of Thrones”) co-stars as his estranged daughter, who Hemingway tries to reconnect with all while trying to find the money that was stolen from him. Demian Bichir (“The Bridge”) plays the Russian mob boss that Hemingway refused to rat out.
Fox Searchlight is releasing “Dom Hemingway” in theaters next April 4.
