Julie Henderson Named Exec VP, Corporate Communications, 21st Century Fox

Henderson will continue to act as chief spokesperson for News Corp.

News Corp. has named Julie Henderson as executive vice president of corporate affairs and chief communications officer at new spin-off company, 21st Century Fox.

Formerly News Corp.'s senior vice president of corporate affairs and its chief communications officer, Henderson will continue to serve as the company's spokesperson.

In her new role at 21st Century Fox, Henderson will continue to handle communications strategies supporting finances, regulatory issues, litigation, mergers and acquisitions. New responsibilities will include branding initiatives geared toward key audiences for 21st Century Fox.

“Julie is an invaluable member of our executive team, and her work in effectively communicating our vision and corporate perspective on key issues has become even more vital as we begin a new chapter in our company’s history,” News Corp.'s president and chief operating officer Chase Carey said in a statement.

Henderson has also worked in corporate affairs at the company's former Fox Interactive Media unit. Previously, she ran the digital division of mPRm Public Relations.

21st Century Fox is the media and entertainment entity that will be formed as a result of News Corp.’s separation into two distinct publicly traded companies.
