Justin Bieber Cancels ‘Late Show’ Appearance, Thanksgiving Day Parade Taping Last-Minute

Reps for Bieber declined to comment to TheWrap as to why the singer mysteriously pulled out of both gigs

Justin Bieber has canceled his Tuesday appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” as well as his Thanksgiving Day Parade headlining gig without any explanation.

The singer took to Twitter late Monday to announce he was pulling out of CBS’ late-night show, on which he was supposed to promote his new album “Purpose.”

“My apologies to @colbertlateshow as I won’t be able to make it to nyc tomorrow for the show,” he tweeted. “I look forward to making it up to you soon.

The 21-year-old also tweeted at the host directly, saying “@StephenAtHome thank you for the understanding as sometimes life kicks our ass and we need to deal with it. I will see u soon. Thank you.”

Entertainment Tonight reported that Bieber canceled his performance in “The Thanksgiving Day Parade” on CBS, which was supposed to tape on Tuesday Evening in New York City after his appearance on “The Late Show.”

Reps for the singer declined TheWrap’s request for comment.
