Justin Bieber and Keith Richards took to social media to remember Mercury Records’ international product manager Thomas Ayad, who died in the Paris attacks last Friday.

“Still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy,” Bieber wrote Monday night. “He was part of the team for years and I wish I would’ve taken the time to thank him.”

Richards posted a picture of him and Ayad on Instagram with the caption, “My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Thomas Ayad. Words cannot express the horror of what happened in Paris. I am horrified by the tragic events that took place in Paris last Friday night.”

Universal Music Group’s CEO Lucian Grainge confirmed Ayad’s death in a statement Saturday. The 34-year-old executive was killed while attending an Eagles of Death Metal concert at Le Bataclan on Friday during the Paris terror attacks.

More than 100 fans were killed at the Bataclan after terrorists opened fire on the crowd.
