Kanye West, Serena Williams and Others Get on the ‘Kobe System’ in Nike Spoof Ad (Video)

Bogus philosophy promises "Success for the Successful" — with a lot of successful people attesting to its success

Kobe Bryant: Basketball great and motivational icon?

According to a new — and slightly bizarre — Nike ad, it is so.

To promote Bryant's new Nike Zoom Kobe VII signature sneakers, Nike has released an ad that doesn't actually promote the kicks, but rather a bogus motivational philosophy called "The Kobe System" — which promises the seemingly attainable goal of "Success for the Successful."

In the minute-plus clip, celebrities such as rapper Kanye West, "Parks and Recreation" star Aziz Ansari, motivational speaker Tony Robbins, Virgin Group honcho Richard Branson tout the Kobe System, which apparently employs such puzzlers as, "Is there such a thing as a no-handed catch?" "What do you buy after you buy a planet?" and "Can there be a power within the power within?" to challenge its followers to greatness.
