Katherine Jackson Tells ‘Access Hollywood’ Can’t Watch ‘This Is It’

Wednesday’s program will feature singer’s mother’s first interview since Michael’s death.

Guest correspondent La Toya Jackson will interview her mother, Katherine Jackson, on Wednesday’s edition of "Access Hollywood."

It will be Katherine Jackson’s first interview since Michael Jackson’s death in June.

She said she did not think she could handle watching her son’s new film, "This Is It," which premieres in theaters next week.

"I don’t think I can bear to look at it right now, but eventually in time I will watch it," Jackson said.

Katherine attended Tuesday night’s tribute to Michael Jackson on ABC’s "Dancing With the Stars" with her children LaToya and Jermaine. She said Michael was a big fan of the show.

When asked what Michael liked about "Dancing With the Stars," Katherine explained, "Well, you know Michael. He loves to dance and so he watched them because he loved to watch the dancers, and especially the stars that are dancing, because some of them can’t dance a bit and some of them are very good. We used to talk about that together, too."

Katherine praised the tribute, adding, "I loved it and I thought they did a really, really wonderful, beautiful job."
