Katie Couric is heading to the altar with boyfriend John Molner.
The “Katie” host got engaged to the financier over Labor Day weekend, Couric’s publicist confirmed to TheWrap. He did not offer any additional statement.
Molner, 50, heads mergers and acquisitions at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., a prestigious investment firm.
It is the second marriage for the 56-year old Couric. Her first husband, NBC News legal analyst Jay Monahan, died in 1998 at the age of 42 of colon cancer.
Couric has been a spokesperson for colon cancer awareness in the wake of his death, even undergoing an on-air colonoscopy in 2000 while she was host of the “Today” show.
Couric and Monahan had two daughters — Ellie, 21, and Carrie, 17.
