“Roar” singer is a big fan of Chris Lilley
Katy Perry received a surprise phone call from Chris Lilley's “Ja'mie” while a guest on ”The Kyle and Jackie O Show.”
The pop star — a huge fan of the breakout character from the Australian comic's “We Can Be Heroes” and “Summer Heights High” shows — promptly freaked out.
The two fashion icons talked boys, Bali and stealing monkeys like Bieber.
Perry also offered Ja'mie dating advice that involves Snapchat. In return, the private-school girl gave the singer a fantastic gift: her Hillford school blazer. Cue more freaking out from the “Roar” singer.
“Ja'mie: Private School Girl” premieres on HBO Nov. 24 at 10:30 p.m. Lilley's most recent HBO show was “Angry Boys,” in which Lilley donned blackface for one of his character's, rapper S.mouse.
Perry is on tour promoting her new album, “Prism.”
