In addition, the two companies have agreed to collaborate on developing new original content for future Relativity projects, with a heavy focus on Relativity’s sports division initially. More than 300 athletes across the NBA, NFL and MLB are represented by Relativity Sports and will be involved in creating unique digital content to Keek’s teen and young adult user base.

“Keek is one of the strongest digital platforms in the world, and we’re excited to partner with such a terrific team,” said Relativity COO Happy Walters. “Keek is able to deliver on the elusive teen and young adult audience, and we look forward to developing and producing engaging short-form content across Relativity’s divisions including sports, fashion, music and television.”

“Keek is a destination for celebrities, so it was a natural fit for us to work with Relativity, one of the most prominent studios in the world,” said Keek chief marketing officer Lin Dai. “We are excited to work with major content partners such as Relativity on new and innovative ways to develop unique and compelling content on the platform and engage teens and young adults around the globe.”

Keek plans to work with Relativity on innovative campaigns on Keek’s platform to promote Relativity movie and television releases, Dai told TheWrap. The company revealed that it is developing a revenue-sharing model with select media companies, with Relativity in position to be one of the first to benefit from this unique initiative for a social video-sharing platform. Founded by film producer Ryan Kavanaugh, Relativity has risen to become one of the largest film studios in the world.

Keek is poised to benefit from the wide array of unique and original content Relativity can provide to its 69 million users from TV to movies, sports, fashion and music, while Relativity will benefit from being able to reach Keek’s 69 million teens and young adults to promote their upcoming projects.
