Kehlani is getting “nothing but love and support” from Kyrie Irving, despite rumors that the “America’s Got Talent” alum cheated on the NBA player.

Amid reports that Kehlani attempted suicide this week after being accused of infidelity, the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard took to Twitter on Wednesday night to clear the air on the matter.

In a series of tweets that have since been deleted but were preserved by Extra, Irving explained the circumstances surrounding a photo posted online this week of Kehlani holding hands with her ex-boyfriend, rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR.

“It’s been hard to see what’s going on and not address the truth,” Irving wrote. “I do not justify the picture or what dude did to try and spark all of this nonsense that could have been avoided, but me and Kehlani were not dating when the picture came out.”

Irving added, “It’s unfortunate that it’s received so much attention but it’s become bigger because of a post that was misunderstood. Nothing but love and compassion over this way for her and her family.”

After the photo was posted, Kehlani was reportedly hospitalized for an apparent suicide attempt. The singer posted a picture of her arm hooked up to an IV in a hospital bed, writing on Instagram, “I wanted to leave this Earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point.”

She also denied the cheating allegations.

Irving’s show of support for Kehlani was a far cry from singer Chris Brown‘s Twitter tirade on Wednesday, during which he accused Kehlani of trolling for sympathy.

“There is no attempting suicide,” Brown wrote. “Stop flexing for the gram. Doing shit for sympathy so them comments under your pics don’t look so bad.”
