Randall Batinkoff, Scott Wolf Dish on Story Behind ’37’ (Video)

“I would’ve leapt to be involved no matter what,” Wolf said of “37” on the latest episode of “Drinking with the Stars”

Scott Wolf (“Party of Five”) and Randall Batinkoff (“Kick-Ass”) sat down with TheWrap to talk about their new film “37: A Final Promise,” on the latest episode of “Drinking with the Stars.”

The film, written and directed by Batinkoff, is about rocker Adam Webb (Batinkoff), who plans to commit suicide when he turns 37, but has a change of heart when he meets Jemma (Scottie Thompson) and falls in love.

Wolf, who plays Webb’s attorney, said he was surprised by the script, calling it “really resonant.”

“While this story is supposed to be the kind of end of things, this brand new beginning happens,” Wolf said. “And it’s really beautiful, and fun, and light.”

He added that his only regret is that he couldn’t play a bigger role because of other commitments.

“37: A Final Promise” is currently playing in select theaters and available for VOD.
