“Shahs of Sunset” star Reza Farahan has joined the angry mob of those who don’t understand how Kanye West and Kim Kardashian could have been deserving of a coveted Vogue cover — unless they paid for it.
“I’m thinking Kanye paid for that cover,” Farahan told TMZ. “That’s a legit fashion magazine, and this bitch is selling her shit at Sears — not that I have a problem with Sears.”
Although Farahan seemed confident that “Anna Wintour would never” consider Kardashian Vogue cover material, the magazine’s editor-in-chief responded to the backlash in a letter, which noted that “there’s barely a strand of the modern media that the Kardashian Wests haven’t been able to master.”
“Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world’s spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that,” Wintour wrote.
Farahan, a Persian real estate agent-turned-reality star on Bravo, doesn’t buy the explanation Wintour is selling.
“C’mon now. She made a sex tape and she sells Kardashian Kollection, she does not belong on Vogue,” Farahan continued. “I’ll be on Vogue next month with Kanye standing behind me.”
