More than two months after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel, former Los Angeles Laker and reality TV personality Lamar Odom’s road to recovery remains bumpy.

The 36-year-old NBA veteran is still “struggling” and is apparently unable to walk unaided, a source told E! News.

“It appears he can’t walk on his own. He has a walker that he does short walks with the aid of therapists,” the source said.

Odom, who’s undergoing treatment in Los Angeles, “always is struggling,” the source added. “I saw the other day he got tired after a short session in the walker and had to be transferred back to his wheel chair.”

Odom was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada, on Oct. 13, after booking what was intended to be a five-day spree with two prostitutes at the cathouse.

Emergency calls placed by brothel employees initially indicated that Odom, who has struggled with substance abuse in the past, had admitted to using cocaine prior to his arrival at the brothel and had used up to 10 herbal sexual enhancement supplements during his stay. However, court papers obtained by TheWrap indicate that there’s evidence Odom may have ingested cocaine during his brothel stay.

In November, Odom’s estranged wife, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Khloe Kardashian, told talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres that the former basketball player was “really confused a lot,” and was apparently unaware of why he had been hospitalized.

“We tell him he had a brain injury. I can’t tell him how that brain injury was caused, because it will set him back,” Kardashian said.
