“Seinfeld” creator just hopes he’ll never have to spend “Seinfeld” money, he says in sarcastic op-ed

Larry David can finally afford blueberries.

The antioxidant-rich berries are among the luxuries the "Seinfeld" creator and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star says he can finally afford thanks to the extension of the Bush tax cuts. In a kind-of sarcastic op-ed for The New York Times Tuesday, David said he's also indulging in his own room when he takes his kids to Cabo, a new TV, and fancy cereal to garnish with those blueberries.

"It’s nothing but real granola from now on. The kind you get in the plastic bins in health food stores. Did someone say 'organic'?" David wrote.

But he sounds most excited about the blueberries.

"Did you know they have a lot of antioxidants, which prevent cancer? Cancer! This tax cut just might save my life. Who said Republicans don’t support health care?"

David, who thanks Republicans and offers a special thanks to Democrats and President Obama ("I didn't know you cared") also expresses hope that he'll never need to dip into his "Seinfeld" syndication money,
