The undercover unit was created to stop America’s enemies abroad from acquiring sophisticated American-made electronics capable of guiding missiles, jamming radar, and triggering countless weapons — from wireless IEDs to nuclear bombs. The U.S. agents must outwit not only enemy brokers, but American manufacturers and global bankers who are willing to sacrifice national security for profit.

The book will be released July 8 by Simon & Schuster.

Alex Hedlund will oversee the project for Legendary, which most recently released “300: Rise of an Empire.”

Legendary has “Godzilla” stomping into theaters in May, while its other upcoming films include Guillermo del Toro‘s “Crimson Peak” and Duncan Jones‘ “Warcraft.”
