Lena Dunham is proud of her friend Taylor Swift as she takes a stand in court against a former Denver DJ who the singer claims groped her rear during a 2013 meet-and-greet.

“Proud of @taylorswift13 for her fierce & cutting testimony & her refusal to settle for being treated like property,” Dunham tweeted on Thursday. “Her example is powerful.”

Dunham’s tweet came just hours after the “Bad Blood” singer testified in the trial on Thursday, telling the court that DJ David Mueller “stayed on to my bare ass cheek” as they posed for a photo.

Questioned by Mueller’s attorney, Gabriel McFarland, about what happened, Swift told the court, according to Denver’s ABC affiliate: “He stayed on to my bare ass cheek as I lurched away from him uncomfortably … The first couple of milliseconds, I thought it must be a mistake. I moved to the side very quickly.”

When asked about Mueller’s hand placement while the photo was being taken, Swift responded. “He stuck it right up.”

Swift was initially sued in September 2015 by Mueller, who claims that he was wrongfully fired after being accused of groping the singer during the meet-and-greet at Swift’s concert at Denver’s Pepsi Arena in June 2013. The radio personality, who goes by the professional name “Jackson,” has adamantly denied the accusation, though Swift has testified: “It was not an accident. It was completely intentional, and I have never been so sure of anything in my life.”

Swift subsequently filed a countersuit against Mueller in October 2015.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the singer is asking for a $1 verdict because she’s “not trying to bankrupt this man.”

“She’s trying to tell people out there that you can say no when someone puts their hand on you,” said Swift’s counsel. “Grabbing a woman’s rear end is an assault, and it’s always wrong. Any woman — rich, poor, famous, or not — is entitled to not have that happen.”
