The writer/director/actress has some fun with the late night show's rising star, Kate McKinnon
Lena Dunham made a few jokes and answered a few obvious questions about her upcoming “Saturday Night Live” hosting stint before the media ever got a chance to (predictably) ask them.
The “Girls” triple-threat is top-lining “SNL” this weekend, and in her promos for the show with Kate McKinnon, she plays it cool while going after several inevitable topics of conversation:
- Could she relinquish her usual control of a show and just be an actress? Of course, she answered, with self-parody.
- How about that whole nudity thing? Well, McKinnon took care of that one.
- And will the show have fun with her vocal leadership of a new age of feminism? Sure, they even made up a whole dance for it!
Dunham hosts with musical guests The National on Saturday.
