Lena Headey Leads Greeks to ‘Death and Destruction’ in New ‘300: Rise of an Empire’ Trailer (Video)

Not that we didn't already expect plenty of death and destruction in the sequel to 2006 hit

A new international trailer for Warner Bros.' "300: Rise of an Empire" promises lots of "death and destruction" when the sequel roars into theaters next spring.

With Gerard Butler's King Leonidas (seven-year-old spoiler alert!) dead, it's up to his wife, Queen Gorgo (Lena Headey), to rally the remaining Greek troops into battle against Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his naval commander, Artemisia (Eva Green).

Don't worry, though. There's still plenty of testosterone fueling the next installment of a franchise populated by nearly-naked men with perfect six-pack abs. Sullivan Stapleton ("Strike Back") stars as General Themistocles, who leads the charge against the Persians on March 7.
