Lindsay Lohan Ordered Back to Court Thursday Morning

The actress, now under house arrest, reportedly tested positive for alcohol

Lindsay Lohan has been ordered back to court for a Thursday morning hearing to determine whether she violated her probation by drinking alcohol.

The 24-year-old actress is scheduled to appear before Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner at 10 a.m.

She has been under house arrest since May 26, after Sautner sentenced her to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service for stealing a diamond necklace. Lohan pleaded no contest to misdemeanor theft in that case.

Because Lohan is a nonviolent offender, she was permitted to serve her sentence — which would be shortened to 35 days — under house arrest.

Lindsay has been serving the sentence in a beach house in Venice.

She is prohibited from drinking alcohol, but according to numerous published reports, she tested positive for alcohol this month.

That's why she must return to court Thursday morning.

Lohan's spokesman, Steve Honig, declined to comment to TheWrap late Wednesday night.

Lohan was arrested for DUI twice in 2007, and has been in legal trouble ever since.
