Lindsay Lohan Got Mobbed Up, After All

Hours after producer Marc Fiore says talks for the actress to join the cast of “Gotti: Three Generations” had broken down, Lohan signs a two-picture deal

Just when we thought she was out, she's back in.

Hours after producer Marc Fiore announced that troubled actress Lindsay Lohan would not appear in the movie "Gotti: Three Generations," Lohan signed a deal to star in two of the producer's movies — including the John Gotti biopic.

And she had switched "Gotti" roles.

Instead of playing mobster John Gotti's daughter, Victoria, Lohan will play Kimberly Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Jr.

"We started the day she was not going to be in the film and talks had broken down, and we ended the day with her signing a two-picture deal with Fiore Films, so you never know what's going to happen in Hollywood," Fiore's spokesman, Steve Honig, told TheWrap.

The actress and the project have had a strange relationship so far.

Lohan's family is acquainted with the Gotti family, and Lindsay Lohan had expressed interest in playing Victoria Gotti. The actress even attended a press conference in New York last week, announcing that John Travolta and Joe Pesci would star in the film.

But negotiations were so frustrating, Fiore told TMZ that "I will only ride a merry-go-round with my kids." On Wednesday morning, his spokesman told TheWrap that Lohan was out of the picture.

"It was over," Honig said. "But Lindsay wanted to do this film so bad that she interceded, and she called up her managers and she got everything going again and singlehandedly got everything going again."

He said her next Fiore picture will be "Mob Street," which actor-writer Chazz Palminteri is now writing.
