Netflix has renewed “Grace and Frankie” for a fourth season, and has tapped “Friends” alum Lisa Kudrow to guest star, TheWrap has learned.

Kudrow’s appearance on the Emmy-nominated Netflix show will mark a mini-“Friends” reunion of sorts. “Grace and Frankie” was created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris — Kauffman co-created the iconic NBC sitcom that ran from 1994-2004.

According to Netflix, Kudrow will appear in a “guest-starring arc,” playing Sheree, a manicurist that works for Fonda’s Grace, and becomes a lot more in Season 4. In a photo released by the streaming service, we can see Kudrow hanging out with the lead duo at their beach house. Netflix has not confirmed how many episodes Kudrow will appear in.

The audience will see Sheree getting close to Grace while also getting under Frankie’s (Tomlin) skin, creating a third wheel scenario that “threatens to drive a wedge” between the roommates. The two have been living together since Season 1, when their husbands left both of them to get married to each other.

The renewal comes just three weeks after the third season premiered in full on Netflix. “Grace and Frankie” season four will premiere on the streaming service some time in 2018.

Kudrow recently starred in “The Comeback” and in “Web Therapy.” She’s also made appearances on the big screen in “The Boss Baby,” “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising,” and “The Girl on the Train.” Other memorable guest-starring roles have included the “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “BoJack Horseman.”
