‘Lone Star’ Aftershock: ‘Human Target’ Moves to Wednesdays

The series was scheduled to air on Friday nights, its premiere has been pushed back over a month

Fox's rapid-fire cancellation of the Texas con man soap "Lone Star" means the bodyguard thriller "Human Target" is making a move to Wednesdays. "Human Target" was originally supposed to air on Friday nights beginning Oct. 1.

Season two of "Human Target" will now premiere Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m.

"Human Target" is filling the slot formerly occupied by "Lie To Me." "Lie To Me" was moved from Wednesday to Monday in the wake of "Lone Star's" untimely demise.

"Lone Star" became the first casualty of the new fall TV season on Tuesday after only two weeks on the air. The show was a critical darling leading into the new season, but it earned awful ratings for its first to episodes.
