"Lords of Dogtown" star John Robinson has joined the star-studded ensemble cast of Peter Bogdanovich's indie comedy "Squirrels to the Nuts."
Imogen Poots stars as a prostitute who gets a shot as a Broadway actress thanks to a married theater director (Owen Wilson) who falls for her.
Jennifer Aniston highlights the supporting cast, which also includes Will Forte, Kathryn Hahn, Richard Lewis, Cybill Shepherd, Joanna Lumley, Debi Mazar and Bogdanovich's Oscar-winning "Paper Moon" star Tatum O'Neal.
Robinson will play the role of 'Andre,' though character details were not immediately available.

Wes Anderson, Noah Baumbach and Holly Wiersma are producing with Logan Levy and George Drakoulias. Cassian Elwes, Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman are exec producing with Louise Stratten, Jeff Rice, Jacob Pechnick and Rob Barnum.
Lagniappe Films is financing the movie, for which Red Granite will be handling international sales. The picture is expected to be released overseas under the title "She's Funny That Way." Cameras are currently rolling in New York.

Robinson, who was discovered by director Gus Van Sant and subsequently cast as the lead in "Elephant," recently wrapped the psychological thriller "Intruder." He appeared alongside Shia LaBeouf in Michael Bay's "Transformers" and also had roles in Kelly Reichardt's drama "Wendy and Lucy" and Michael Polish's "Big Sur."
Robinson is repped by Paradigm and Radius Entertainment.
