Lorenzo di Bonaventura in Talks With Paramount to Renew Deal

The “Transformers” and “G.I. Joe” producer has been at the studio since 2002

Paramount and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura are in talks on a deal to keep the "Trasformers" and "G.I. Joe" producer at the studio for another three years, TheWrap has confirmed.

The studio told TheWrap on Sunday that a new deal has not yet been finalized. Neither the producer nor his spokesman returned emails seeking comment.

Di Bonaventura has been at Paramount since 2002, producing many of the studio's most successful movies during that span.

His next "G.I. Joe" movie, Paramount's "G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation," is set for release in June.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that a new deal is in place.
