“Louie” is currently nominated for five Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Lead Actor for CK.

“‘Louie’s’ fourth season was once again groundbreaking. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking — always thought provoking,” FX CEO John Landgraf said in a statement. “The show went to narrative and cinematic places no comedy has gone before and we look forward to seeing what Louis comes up with next.”

“Louie” is executive produced by CK, M. Blair Breard and Dave Becky. The series is produced by FX Productions.
