Mel Gibson Wants to Destroy Washington, D.C., in New ‘Machete’ Trailer (Video)

Machete must stop the former action hero from unleashing a "lethal weapon" on the United States

Mel Gibson is planning to destroy Washington D.C. with one big ol' missile in the new "Machete" trailer that reveals more plot details.

Like fans of Robert Rodriguez's "Grindhouse" trailer-turned-feature have seen in previous previews, Charlie Sheen plays the President of the United States who calls upon seemingly invincible ex-Federale, Machete (Danny Trejo), to once again slice and dice through Mexico in order to stop the mad revolutionary from carrying out his plan.

"Noah had his arc, I've got mine," Gibson says, in what will probably be one of many intentionally cheesy villainous one liners.

Amber Heard ("Pineapple Express") plays Machete's handler, while Gibson has an all-star army of "super soldiers" at his disposal, including Lady Gaga, Vanessa Hudgens, Sofia Vergara, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Antonio Banderas.

"Machete Kills" blasts into theaters on Oct. 11. Watch the ridiculous new trailer, below:
