Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Justin Timberlake are among the big name acts vying for the 2013 American Music Awards.
Nominations for the prizes were announced Thursday morning on “Good Morning America,” with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis leading the pack with six nominations, followed closely by Swift and Timberlake with five nominations a piece.
Florida Georgia Line, Rihanna and Robin Thicke earned four nods, while Mars and Imagine Dragons were nominated for three awards.
And lock up those teddy bears and break out the flesh-colored bra and panty sets, because it was also announced that Miley Cyrus, the former Disney Channel star who also twerks, will perform on the show.
Imagine Dragons will be featured on the show as well, which will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Nov. 24 on ABC. Additional acts and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
