‘Mad Men’: Who’s Most Searched Online? It’s Not Jon Hamm or Don Draper

Yahoo's search engine statistics reveal the public is focused on the female cast

"Mad Men" may focus on ad executive Don Draper, but online search statistics suggest the public is more interested in the women on the hit AMC drama series.

Yahoo reports that in the week leading up to Sunday's Season 6 premiere, Christina Hendricks and her character, Joan Holloway, beat out Hamm and his, Don Draper, to become the show's most-searched star and character. Hendricks was searched eight times more often than Hamm, Yahoo said.

Following the curvaceous redhead — we're sure that has nothing to do with alll those searches — were January Jones (Betty Draper) and Jessica Paré (Megan Draper). Hamm was next, followed by Elisabeth Moss (Peggy Olson).

Google search statistics tell a slightly different but similar story. Hendricks was still the most-searched "Mad Men" star, but on Google she was followd by Hamm, with Jones third, Moss fourth, and John Slattery (Roger Sterling) fifth.

Which means fans aren't just mad for the men.
