Madonna and Live Nation Strike $40M Deal With Interscope

Singer’s next single scheduled for late-January release

Madonna has struck a deal with Interscope Records that will see the label license the Material Girl's next three albums, the singer's producer, Live Nation Entertainment, announced Thursday.

The first album under the deal — the singer's first since 2008's "Hard Candy" — comes out in late March.

Sources say that the deal is valued at $40 million.

The first single from the album, "Gimme All Your Luvin'," will be released the last week of January — just ahead of her Feb. 5 Super Bowl halftime performance.

The singer inked a deal with Live Nation in 2007 that includes virtually all aspects of her career, including new studio albums, touring, merchandising, DVDs, music-related television projects and film projects.

Previously, Madonna had been with the Warner Bros. record label.

Madonna's next film "W.E.," which she directed and co-wrote, has a wide-release date of Feb. 3.

"Very rarely does an opportunity like this come around," said Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine. "We would like to thank Madonna, Guy and Live Nation for their belief in us."
