March Madness On Demand Sets Record

Traffic through the first four days surpasses the entire 2008 tournament.

CBSSports.com, in partnership with CBS Sports and the NCAA, today released traffic figures for its NCAA March Madness on Demand for the first four days of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.

There were 5.6 million unique visitors to the NCAA March Madness on Demand video player, a 60 percent increase over 2008 figures (3.5 million). Additionally, there have been 6.5 million total hours of video and audio consumed thus far, a 71 percent increase over 2008 figures (3.8 million).

NCAA March Madness on Demand is the Emmy award-winning video player that provides live streaming video and audio of the Men’s Basketball Championship.
